I've come to the conclusion that someone on the road that runs south and north along the west side of Branched Oak Lake must raise exotic birds. On September 12 I saw three
Helmeted Guinea Fowls. On September 24 I saw four
Chukars in the park in an area that would have been more or less directly east of where I saw the guinea fowls.
Today, I saw this lone Common Peafowl

Beautiful bird though! I sometimes take photos of domestic waterfowl even though they don't count on a list.
Since it was the bird that would "pose"....
