On March 28 I had surgery. It was somewhat expected, but wasn't really. This medical situation has been an ongoing one for sometime. The surgery went well and initially recovery did also. About five days later I was back in the hospital and enduring yet another surgery. Then ten more days of hospital stay. I'm home again. It will be a long slow recovery.
What this means for this blog, or for the remainder of my life, I don't know.
In the meantime, I will live vicariously through the blogs of others and hope to be on the trail again sooner rather than later.

Almost any challenge in life can be overcome but you need some luck when it comes to your health.I hope some luck comes your way.
Kayleen, I have not been here in awhile and did not know you were sick. I hope you are on the mend soon and can get back to birds and blogging. From reading your previous posts, it seems you have had a lot going on in your life. I wish you peace and health. I send you prayers.
Kayleen, are you still out there? It is well into fall migration and we pry you are out and moving about.
